YSSN in collaboration with Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services invites caregivers to Learn from a BCBA – Autism Specialist. Multiple topics are offered during this in-person Autism Education Series.

Classroom 2 Managing Challenging Behaviours: This parent training workshop will focus on the various principles used in ABA to reduce challenging behaviours. The why’s, what’s and how’s of the following topics:

• The 4 functions of behaviour
• Antecedent strategies
• Replacement behaviours
• Consequence strategies

In Person Event: Two presentations will be held simultaneously to meet the needs of all our caregivers, mix and match the workshop that best meet your needs.

Event Location: Your Support Services Network Office, 240 Edward St. Aurora.

All workshops are for families with children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and are registered with The Ontario Autism Program (OAP).
