The workshop is intended for caregivers who would like to learn about de-escalation strategies to use when supporting children, youth, and family members in distress. Caregivers will be provided with an overview of the verbal and non-verbal strategies taught in the Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI-CPI) training program. This webinar will be facilitated by NVCI-trained instructors. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the webinar.

Please note that participants will not receive a certification of completion or become NVCI certified.

All workshops are for families with children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and are registered with The Ontario Autism Program (OAP).
