Your Support Services Network (YSSN) is a not-for-profit organization that connects people, along with their families and caregivers, to the services and supports they need to live their best lives. As a social services hub, we support children and adults:
Since 1982, YSSN has been dedicated to supporting adults, children, and families in York Region, Simcoe County, Durham Region, Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, and Northumberland.
In 2023, we expanded our reach as a partner in the national 9-8-8 suicide crisis helpline, providing support across Canada.
With direct 24/7 crisis support, access services and service coordination, YSSN provides a streamlined process for people to navigate the right supports for their unique needs, at the right time, across every stage of their lives.
As a community-focused organization, YSSN works closely with local police, paramedics, hospitals, healthcare providers, housing organizations, and social service agencies.
These partnerships help ensure people get the right support at the right time, tailored to meet their unique needs.
At YSSN, our promise to you is captured in our Bill of Rights. This is more than just words on a page—it forms the foundation that guides how every YSSN employee works. Each new team member reviews this Bill of Rights when they join YSSN, and all staff revisit it annually to ensure we consistently uphold these values in everything we do.
